Valentines Day

Well, today is Valentines Day, February 14th. Does anybody else think that it is just a great big con? Every year there seems to be more and more shops selling Valentines gifts. Is it just me or are they just exploiting consumers into getting pressurized into buying romantic gifts because it is the expected thing to do? I for one don't spend a penny, although my wife gets me card, I tell her stricly no presents. I would rather have something that I will benefit from opposed to a cuddly bear with "I love you" on it. I know my wife loves me, and she loves me 365 days a year, not just on the 14th February, and I love her 329 days a year, excluding 36 days a year, 3 days a month when she turns into the anti-christ! We do not need commercial gimmikky junk to prove our love to each other and I urge you to rebel against Valentines Day too!
